"You've done a great job, we are all very thankful and know you've worked extremely hard and gone to great lengths to get this over the line on time."
The Heart Foundation Team
OVERVIEW
The Heart Foundation fund lifesaving heart research, working to improve heart disease prevention and care across Australia.
At this very moment, over 1.4 million Australians are living with heart disease, and each year more than 55,000 Australians suffer a heart attack.
The Heart Foundation is dedicated to making a real difference to the heart health of Australians.
CHALLENGE
Ensure that everyone from health care practitioners, to survivors with heart disease, to people looking to live a healthier life could all obtain the necessary information they needed.
Encourage Australians to learn about cardiovascular disease and take action.
Showcase clearer pathways for donations as over 80% of the Heart foundation's funding comes from public donations.
Generate and translate research evidence to show the sheer volume and variation being completed at any given time.
SOLUTION
Extensive UX research was completed across a diverse range of users to ensure the information architecture (IA) was laid out correctly.
Landing pages were developed including small, interesting, easily digested, snippets of content to encourage information consumption. Users are more inclined to click through to information that resonates with them. Users are encouraged to take tangible action by calculating their BMI, signing up to events or trying a healthy recipe.
People are more likely to donate if they feel a connection with the cause. The design places imagery and stories at the forefront and utilises a bespoke CMS implementation, allowing the creation of reusable donation widgets. As a result, the client can easily synchronise current donation campaigns across the site by simply updating unique donation codes in the CMS.
A research repository was built to showcase research projects that are currently underway. It also allows fellow researchers to collaborate while allowing information to remain accessible to everyone.
Keep more families together, donate today.
