A key provider of training and certification of GPs in Western Australia. WAGPET's services include assisting of a range of medical professionals in obtaining placements in the community, eLearning and running in classroom teaching.

We wanted to ensure that their site was an extension of their offering, delivering value to its current and prospective students. 


Several key factors were identified which would ensure the success of the digital strategy.

Forms are a central connection between all services the organisation meaning integration with CRM, Payment gateways, Learning platforms were required as well as a robust CMS allowing for internal management.

A digital strategy was formulated with a focus on ensuring WAGPET’s message reaches, and engages with, its target market by identifying the digital platforms and styles of digital delivery that are most highly engaging for the target audience.

Reach and accessibility was maximised utilising coding focused on compliance with WCAG guidelines including around AccessibilityLevel 2 (AA) Guidelines as per Commonwealth Government digital accessibility requirements and on improving natural search engine optimisation (SEO).

Allow for detailed ongoing analysis of digital performance through creation of specific measurable benchmarks and implementation of digital metric tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.


The diverse audience groups catered to, although sharing the common goal of becoming a GP, require a wide range of information and have diverse range of paths to arrive at their qualification. To this end a considered, clear information architecture which clearly signposted access, via multiple pathways to a complex set of pages of information, forms and resources was implemented. By building the site to be responsive to multiple devices and screen sizes visitors are able to reach their desired content wherever and whenever required.
