Football Federation Australia love their A-League and the passion of their dedicated fans across Australia and New Zealand. The 2013/2014 A-League season campaign focused on how fans #PowerTheGame for their favourite A-League Club. The idea was simple, get fans to voice their excitement and dedication across a responsive website and generate reach through Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus.
Create a user friendly and intuitive platform to allow fans to 'connect' with the Power The Game website and comment on how they PowerTheGame. The site needed to be simple and intuitive given the broad audience type so usability for the user interface was key. Given that users were sharing their data with the FFA, we needed to make sure the site visitors felt secure and incentivised.
Utilising Facebook Connect and additional sharing functionality for Twitter and Google+ across a responsive platform. A custom CMS was built to administrate user profiles and approve/moderate comments. The site reached a wide audience and within hours connected with hundreds of A-League fans across Australia and New Zealand.
