OVERVIEW
Helping an Australian start-up reach its potential, and evolve into a global leader in education space. Our combined goal was to create a high-impact professional learning application that utilises practical strategies delivered in direct response to instructional practice, student engagement, learning outcomes and teacher reflections.
Verso has pivoted from classroom collaboration to contemporary professional learning community. The bigger picture for the platform was to increase adoption in key markets the United States and Australia before branching out globally.
CHALLENGE
The aim is to provide a platform that both assists educators and improves student retention and engagement, enabling teachers to apply high impact teaching strategies and connect teachers through a professional learning network.
Through extensive engagement with the target audience, we created an application that meets every user’s need. By conducting multiple interviews, workshops and brainstorming sessions we ensured with absolute certainty the direction and outcome was accurate.
SOLUTION
Working side-by-side with Verso for more than two years, enabled us to become more than a partner, we were considered an extension of Verso’s internal team.
By focusing on User Experience we were able to analyse and break down the methodology ingrained in the relationship between applied linguistics and language pedagogy delivered a considered product, with a positive impact. A collaborative development and on-going partnership gave us unique insights into the everyday classroom. From those insights, we produced a tool that’s proven to be what was required to help expand the platform into the global education space.
Verso now provides 40,000 teachers, 12,000 schools in more than 100 countries a platform to assist in teaching and to educate the next generation.
