ViewPro specialises in creating digital solutions that empower Construction organisations to improve productivity through analytical data reporting and automated project controls. Giving time back to the actual projects for the Engineers and Managers.
CHALLENGE
Engineers and managers who work on the ground rarely have an overall view of their progress and the health of the tools they work with. When they do, it's usually in the form of pen and paper. Our challenge was to create a series of web applications for an audience who were deemed ‘technology impaired’ and that would enable engineers to be able to track and complete their work from a site in a seamless manner. These reports would later be reviewed by managers & engineers across a variety of devices in multiple formats.
Our challenge was to build a product that could be used by anyone anywhere.
SOLUTION
Carter and ViewPro’s journey began with a view to understanding how the Engineers working in the “London tunnel redevelopment’ operate and
the issues that arise from relying on pen and paper to compile complex progress reports. Through extensive research, we were able to create a seamless experience that ensured a clean interface that would remain visible and accessible in the user's natural environment, anywhere from a rainy excavation site to deep below sea level.
Translating these designs into web-based applications that allow the user to be able to digitally compile and review their report within one screen. The result is an online application & API that allow users to complete this report anywhere in the world.
