OVERVIEW
Increasing conservation and awareness through seamless journeys, attracting people to Trust For Nature’s cause.
A not-for-profit organisation, Trust for Nature (TFN) remain dedicated to protecting native plants and wildlife in cooperation with private landowners in Victoria, Australia.
Our role was to refresh their digital delivery of assets that highlight their dedication and transformation of the Australian landscape, showcases their leadership in the field and honors their 40 years of experience.
CHALLENGE
The existing offering targeted current users, already supporting and aware of the cause. The new digital platform needed to work towards a more agile way of communicating all aspects of the organisation, engage new audiences and demonstrate the impact of their work has to the public and greater world health.
Re-inventing the trust on a digital scale was a major goal. Working together our goal to ensure the level of effort applied to rescuing wildlife and land on the ground was represented accordingly in the digital approach/presence.
We focused on journeys that educated and encouraged both, existing and new users. We aim to inspire people who are passionate about natural habitats and animals and showcase while at the same time continuing to demonstrate TFN’s dedication to the science behind the work.
Creating a robust and single communication vision and voice, combined with a detailed process plan assisted in developing a successful outcome. Selecting the CMS based on project objectives, requirements and client needs was a major factor in the success of the project.
OUR SOLUTION
The digital offering services a diverse range of audiences; Property, legal and banking professionals, each requiring information of a different focus. Our considered design uses a contextual approach, with differing types of users able to follow a clear path through information about the specific benefits the network provides for its users.
The journey to redevelopment began by refreshing the language used across the current digital platforms, inclusive of navigational labels and content.
We incorporated face-to-face user testing via interactive prototypes, survey questions, and discussion groups. Focusing on target audiences both familiar, and unfamiliar with a series of tasks that directly assisted in fulfilling our project objectives and goals.
The insights gained through testing provided us with a secure foundation for our experience team to begin their work. The results speak for themselves, a clean and easy to follow user experience through factual information branches, encouraging the growth of community engagement and the motion to give back.
